Macomb County Adult Drug Court
If you are being charged with a felony drug crime in Macomb County Circuit Court, you may be eligible to participate in the Macomb County Adult Drug Court. The mission of the Adult Drug Court is to provide support and accountability for those who wish to become rehabilitated with long-term sobriety as a goal. They believe in rehabilitation rather than incarceration and offer those facing harsh consequences the opportunity to prove themselves and receive a second chance. Families Against Narcotics
Families Against Narcotics (FAN) is a community based program for those seeking recovery, those in recovery, family members affected by addiction and community supporters. They offer support meetings through Michigan and provide assistance in seeking treatment for substance abuse addiction.
Hope Not Handcuffs
Hope Not Handcuffs is a program offered through Family Against Narcotics. Its mission is to provide advocacy between law enforcement and those struggling with addiction. A group of trained volunteers assist those wishing to seek treatment and rehabilitation. An assigned volunteer will work one-on-one to help complete paperwork and find a treatment center that will accept an individual on an urgent basis.
Macomb County Community Mental Health Office of Substance Abuse
MCCMH Office of Substance Abuse provides resources for substance abuse treatment and prevention. They contract with a variety of licensed service providers that specialize in substance use disorder treatment for low income individuals.
Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center
Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center provides behavioral health, recovery, and wellness services. They offer detoxication, in-patient, out-patient, and after-care services. Sacred Heart also provides transitional housing that is safe, secure, and free of substances.
Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous offers support for recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings. The group atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. N.A. has several locations throughout Michigan.
